This article entitled "About Marriage" by Danielle Crittenden. She presents a discussion about the changing relationship between women and marriage. Most feminist believe that traditional marriage is no longer compatible with modern women's lives because women nowadays has their own ambition to achieve their goals. Women these days have a lot more control in their marriage than they used to. A woman is free to marry who she wants for the most part. She can choose to be married as well as have a career. Society does not have as much control in the lives of married couples as it had in the past. Women are now free to take on any profession that men can. They are becoming highly educated and therefore seen as more respectable. Women realize that it makes no difference between men and women in the workplace. They learn that both genders are equal and most women do what men do. Women do the same job as men for example: most women become a doctor, a scientist, a bus-driver, and so on like men do. On the other hand, women in the past stayed at home and be a good housewife while their husbands worked outside. Feminist believe that the differences between the marriage in this time and the previous time are economics factor, a rise in feminism, parental influences, attitudes about sex, educational achievement, and the divorce rate have all undergone important cultural changes.
             However, what was frightened by Danielle Crittenden was that the modern women do not carry out her essence as good wives and the mother from children. They are too autonomous and even forget that in a natural manner, men are the head of the household in the marriage. The position of the men cannot be replaced that they have duties of fatherhood.
