Hinduism is known for the creativity of thought and ideas about their beliefs. The belief in reincarnation is a very strong aspect and Hindus believe that every living thing is reincarnated as something higher or lower, depending on whether or nor they led an honourable or deceitful life. This is a necessary process for Hindus as it leads them to be reincarnated as Moksha, the state of knowing all, it is perfection. Moksha is only achievable when one can no longer achieve reincarnation into a higher entity. Therefore, every living thing is regarded with a high value, and consequently, Hindus have more respect for the smallest living thing than any other religion.
             Hinduism, a religious tradition of Indian origin, comprises of the beliefs and practices of the Hindus. 'Hindu' was originally a term given to a group of people who originally resided near the river Indus. By the end of the eighteenth century, it became a term, adopted by the British, to describe the people of Hindustan in Northwest India. Later 'Hindu' came to mean 'Indian', and in the broader sense Hinduism became the definition for all Indian people who are not Sikh, Christian, Buddhist or Jain. As in many religious traditions, beliefs and practices come first and those who sanction them are acknowledged as followers. Nevertheless, in the case of the Hindu tradition, the acknowledgement of being Hindu came first, and their beliefs and practices aggregate the details of what is called 'religion'.
             The Hindu tradition encourages the Hindu to seek spiritual and moral truth, no matter where it can be found. Consequently, Hinduism is often ascribed to as Sanatana Dharma or the 'eternal religion'. However, this English translation of Sanatana Dharma gives a somewhat limited sense to the Sanskrit meaning, as Dharma has innumerable meanings in Sanskrit including 'moral order', 'duty', and so on.
