The question that is being asked for this paper is a very interesting, but also controversial or even complex question. As elementary as this question may sound, when you dissect it and break it down there are many different ways this question can be answered. The fact that there are ten football players on a bus can be broken down and viewed in numerous ways.
             I feel that the best way to start looking at this is to look at the definitions and or meanings of a few words or phrases. I feel that the word Organization can have a wide spread of meanings or uses to different people. The text book states that "organizations hinge on three important issues: structure, purpose, activity" (Stojkovic,Kalinich,Klofas).When breaking down those three issues in to there separate forms you open up a large amount of different opinions. In the next few paragraphs I would like to explain my personal views on whether the ten football players on a bus are considered an organization.
             The ten football players are all on the same bus together sitting within the same retaining walls. At first I began to view this part of the question as fact that they are all together and all one team. If that was the case that they in fact were all together and all on the same high school or college football team then they could very easily be considered an organization. They would show structure, by being a member of a team. A group of friends, students, athletes, call them what you will, but the fact is all together they would make a team or organization. They would show purpose in the fact that they are all in this together to win. The urge to win as a team shows the purpose of the organization. It's like a faculty at a university, their purpose is to further the education of the students.
