             Downloading music for free is a huge topic and definitely has caused a lot of controversy in the past couple of years. The greatest example of all is the site called Napster. Napster launched the whole concept of downloading music files for free and became to be known as "...a foundation of a revolution that is undermining the purpose of copyrighting the artistic works, which makes it a very serious issue in the music industry,"(Menn, 56). Napster may be defined as a "...integrated browser and communications system provided by Napster, Inc., to enable musicians and music fans to locate bands and music available in the MP3 music format," (Menn, 35).
