He stated a fact, and then supported it with details. Although he has taken irrelevant ideas, he has played them up to make them look worse to the audience, which they in fact do. This to Iago is only a part of a plan; it involves no feelings. He is not yet done, in addition, he must now turn against Cassio and provoke him to do wrong.
             Iago must get Cassio in trouble in order to obtain his job. He manipulates Cassio into getting drunk and hopefully doing wrong. This will allow him to get in trouble with Othello and allow Iago to make his move. Casio says, "Not tonight, good Iago. I have very poor and/unhappy brains for drinking.
