Analysis Friere

             In Freire's piece of literature, it seems as though teachers or professors are not really "teaching" their students. The students are just taught to memorize words and phrases, and then spit them back out when necessary. This makes the words and phrases lose their significance, and the students do not really know what they have just learned. A way to educate students how to learn properly, and get away from the "banking concept", would be to apply what they have learned in the classroom to the outside world. Being able to relate class knowledge to reality would be a major way in educating students. It would also help if the professor would not assume to be superior to the students, and not to think of the students as ignorant individuals, which they instill knowledge in. The professor should always have an open mind when teaching their subjects. The final way to help improve a student's education would be to improve the relationship between teacher and student.
             Utilizing the knowledge that the students have learned inside the classroom to the outside world would affect how a student perceives information. This would better the student's understanding of what they have learned or read. Being able to apply the information to reality would be a better learning tool, and help the student to associate and remember what they have learned to their life.
             If the educator would think of themselves as an equal instead of someone who is superior, the relationship between the teacher and the student would be better developed. The student would not feel inferior, and would be more enthused about learning. I think that they would also be more apt to listen and understand what the professor is trying to teach them.
             By improving the teacher-student relationship that would also aid in the student's learning process. Getting better acquainted with one another would create a more trusting and accepting env...
