Mine

             Raymond Carver's short story "Mine" is the story that most reflects what the dramatic
             action of the story is about. It also reflects a common way that the story finds its sight,
             touch and sound. For instance, sight, touch and sound reflect the dynamics between the
             Sight of the story reveals the plot in most of the story. For example, "During the day the
             sun had come out and the snow welded into dirty water. This sight focuses on the sun,
             snow and dirty water. This encompassing therefore allows the reader to make more
             associations. Such as health or emotional turmoil. The first sentence also suggests that the
             "He was in the bedroom pushing clothes into a suitcase when she came to the door." He
             did not look up when she came to the door. This sight announces a conflict between the
             man and the women who obviously live in disagreement, which causes his decision to
             leave. In this case, the sight focuses on the man's total ignorance for the women.
             "She stood in the doorway of the little kitchen holding the baby." The conflict starts when
             he walks out of the living room and sees her in the doorway of the little. The man in this
             situation is very temper, because she prohibits his decision to take the baby with him.
             "He crowded her into the wall then, trying to break her grip." The man uses his force in
             order to take the baby out of her hands. The parents selfishly argue over the baby as if it
             were a toy and they children. The sight focuses on the notion, dramatized in the story that
             possession is more important than anything is, except, of course, making sure that the
             "Then she noticed the baby's picture on the bed and picked it up." She does not just
             notice the baby's picture on the bed, she notices that he is pre
