I have a wide variety of ancestors. My family has gone from living in the country to living in Dallas. My parents divorced and have both been remarried. I have three brothers and three sisters right now. I don't know most of my family because of the divorce. Here are some of my deceased ancestors and what I know about them.
My Grandpa Joe was a quiet child. He liked to go outside and play alone. He wasn't a very social person. Grandpa loved to see his grandkids, but that was it, he just liked to see them. Grandma always said he liked the piece and quiet. Tom and Jerry were his favorite cartoons when the kids were around. He would sit with us in the living room and watch it with us. He didn't like to watch T.V. other than that. He was a very smart man. He could tear an engine apart and put it back together in one day. He loved his job, and that's about all he spent his time on before he past away.
My other Grandpa Joe was the opposite, loud and outgoing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. It was kind of boring some times, because he would take us boys on a drive to check things out. We never knew what we were going to see. He liked to go the long way around, and it didn't matter if the main part of the trip was just five miles away. It would still take us three, four, and sometimes ever five hours to get home. Growing up, his dad did the same thing to him. I think he was trying to pass down the boredom. He was also a very smart man. He knew all about every tree in the forest. He always knew when, why, and how everything happened.
Uncle Jack was one of my favorites. He was a "motorcycle lets take a trip" kind of guy. He would buy any kind of vehicle, the cheaper the better, and fix it up. He would always have a different one to show us. Uncle Jack collected lots of neat stuff. He loved things with a blade. He had combs, canes, hats, a...
