. I also noticed that the tone of the book is very mature. He talks about mature topics like sex and drugs. That makes the style of the book very informal. The book is written in plain english, and is easy to read. Brown is not using any fancy writing or figurative language, and that's a good thing. I personally perfer a book that is not hard to read and understand. Too much fancy writing can be difficult to read.
