After traveling to Mount Circeu where the witch Circe lived; he heard the powerful voice coming from the skies. Zeus has called on Odysseus and tells him he wants to know if he is really as smart as the other God and Goddesses say. Zeus tells Odysseus that he would like to have him and his men come up into Olympus and have dinner with him so he can hear all about Odysseus's journey. Odysseus wasn't sure if he should listen to Zeus but he told himself that having dinner can not hurt me and my men.
             During dinner Odysseus sees someone that he recognizes. He believes that it is his friend Hermes that helped him on Mount Circeu. Zeus is being told by Odysseus of how he tricked other Gods and Goddesses by just using his brain. Zeus is interested in all of Odysseus's mind tricks but Zeus wants to see his mind games one on one.
             Being the smart and powerful God Zeus is, he decides that he is not going to let Odysseus leave with out seeing him complete some of his mind games tricks. Odysseus is skeptical and doesn't want to try to do Zeus's tricks because he knows how powerful Zeus is. Odysseus says no but Zeus tells him if he does do his mind games than he will guaranty that not all of his men will die. Zeus said this in the corner of the dining room while watching Odysseus's men drink and dance in the center of the room. Just watching his men, Odysseus decides to try Zeus's mind tricks.
             Little does Odysseus know but the first of two mind tricks had already been played out on him. One of Zeus's first tricks was that if he does finish all of his mind tricks correctly than he will die and there is not way that he can save any of Odysseus's men. Zeus believes that if Odysseus was as smart as other Gods and Goddesses say than he would have asked Zeus what would happen if he doesn't complete his mind games because Odysseus knows that he was already told tha
