I would first like to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to describe how I am qualified for the managerial position work place. Since I first began working, many windows of opportunity opened for me. For these experiences, I'm very grateful because I am a better person with skills that will carry me forward. They have prepared me for the next step as great co-manager.
Throughout these 15 months of employment, there have been different obstacles. These obstacles have only helped me become a stronger leader in my work area as a supervisor. Learning to get along with new employees, adapting to new leadership and the policies they introduced to make a positive work environment, setting high standard expectations for the talent, these have been stepping stones that helped me have a better understanding of what being a manager means to me. I believe a manager has to be responsible, reliable, persistent, and ready for anything whether it is challenging or not. I am very able and enthusiastically ready to accept what I believe this position will bring:
As a Manager, you have many more responsibilities and time limits that may lead to stress. I have succeeded in school, sports, and taking care of my part time job. Any one of these alone would not be very stressful but all together they created some stress. I learned how to handle this in a positive way and I performed each one of my activities to the best of my ability. Stress will always be a factor but I am committed to accomplish a day with the best performance in every duty.
Everyone has their "bad days." I've learned to put my problems away when it comes to assisting a customer. I want customers to have an enjoyable experience before, during, and after their movie experience. Our customers are important to the success of this company and to me. There are no exceptions.
