The Cause of death

             In some instances death can be better than life itself. There could be many people who contributed to Romeo and Juliet's death. The story Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare, has a tragic but great ending which will keep you thinking about it forever. The two characters that contributed to Romeo and Juliet's death were Friar Lawrence and Prince Escalus.
             The Friars plan was not at the least logical. But like little children, they both believed that the plan would definitely work. The letter that the Friar had written to Romeo that said he must revive Juliet in the chambers was not delivered. It wasn't delivered because the messenger was thought to have the black plague. So basically Romeo never knew that Juliet was still living. (Act IV, Scene 1, 90-95) Take thou this vial, being then in bed. And this distilling liquor drink thou off: when presently through all thy veins shall run a cold drowsy humor, for no pulse shall keep his native progress, but surcease. The idea which the Friar had given Juliet completely back fired on Romeos part. Romeo was supposed to wait for her to wake, but never received the letter. So he killed himself to be with Juliet. Then soon after she wakes and sees him dead then kills herself. The Friar had assured her his plan would work and had no doubt but it was just an accident waiting to happen. (Act IV, Scene 2, 120-125) Hold! Get you gone, be strong and prosperous in this resolve, I'll send a Friar with speed to Mantua, with my letters to thy lord. Juliet had a gut feeling that the plan would not work but she didn't listen to her feelings, she decided to listen to the Friar. So instead of being logical, she follows a childish plan and it all completely back fires.
