One day my friends and I got really into motorcycles and after a while it became an obsession, sense none of us had our licenses we decided to build mini bikes. We could enjoy and learn about motorcycles until we could afford one. My friends and I had no idea what we were getting onto.
             Before I took on this project, I knew that I wanted to know everything about mini bikes. I've learned how to use measurements and all types of power tools. A neighbor that I had known for a long time taught me how to use welder. Now it was time to actually build the bike, It wasn't easy.
             My friends and I never had much money. We worked for cash anyway possible; mowing lawns, washing cars etc. the money we got from that was not a lot. The parts we got were mostly used ones because the new parts were too expensive. The first thing I did was build the frame. I got really good at welding, so after gathering all the metal I needed, construction of the frame was really fun. Finding a engine was really difficult. I didn't have enough money for a new one so, I bought a used one from a neighbor which had not worked for a few years. When I tried to test start the engine it wouldn't start. At the time I had no idea why so ,I went on the internet and found information on them, after studying up on it, I found out that the carburetor was really dirty, sparkplug was burned out, and the piston was fried.
             I was really mad after finding out all the problems with the engine, it cost me a small fortune to replace the parts. Three months later I finally had enough money to buy all the parts. Sense some were used, putting them together turn out to be a really hard task. I had to make a lot of modifications to the parts and the frame. Once the bike was completely together, I was really proud of myself. I went to show my mom and she was proud of me too . The mini bike ran really good and had little problems bec
