War

War has been here since the beginning of mankind. It has changed but it is still here, and unless the whole world does something about it then a lot of horrible things could happen. Already horrible things have happened, for instance one of the biggest incidents and a very terrible thing was when the atomic bomb was dropped in Japan. We can still see the effect of the bomb until this day, and as the technology is growing the more horrific things can happen, for example, chemical warfare.
The perception of war has changed in time. Before they used to go to war because they wanted something that the other person had, or because of the location of the other person on a map, or even because of pride and dignity. Now we usually go to war because of the way the government treats its people, or if the country is a threat to the rest of the world. But you never know if this is really why we go to war or if it is just an alibi for something else. For instance there is a speculation of the U.S. going to war with Iraq for oil, but no one knows how authentic this really is.
Countries are not the only ones who go to war. For instance, different gangs fight and a lot of the times innocent civilians get caught in the warfare between the gangs. Normal people even go to war in their own ways. And sometimes people of the same religion go to war over religious conflicts, like Shiites and Sunnis of Islam.
Now-a-days the perception of war is that it can solve all of the problems of the world. I don't see how war is helping one of the biggest issues of this world, racism. War only encourages it.
