Discrimination in our World

             Cultural diversity is something that means the variety of ethnicity, gender, race, etc. in a group or situation of sort. An example of this is an Asian child, an African-American child, and a white child all being taught in the same class. Yet what's wrong with this world is that the white child, as well as the parents, might not want to have this Asian child in the same class. It's horrible, I know, but some people say that it is acceptable to have these feelings.
             Cultural diversity is immense in the American society, so there is a lot of discrimination in the nation. There are many people of every type in America. There are Asians, Arabs, Mexicans, African-Americans, Caucasians, French, Italians, the list goes on. What is awful is the variety of races in America can't get along with one another, actually, it not just America when I say this, but the whole world. You can see a youngster and he'd say "If I was President, I'd make a treaty to be peaceful with everyone in the world!" However most children don't understand how hard it would be to do this. Maybe I don't either, who knows. When I got older I saw how some people can leave your side when you've helped them before and instead the person will go to the winning team. When you're a gamer, this is called "jumping onto the bandwagon," meaning the player will always go to the winning team. It happened to us Americans in the war we're currently in, and now there are so many people who hate the French in America. Things like this are the reason we have discrimination in America. People see things like this and say "look at them, they're weak, they only go to the winning side because they can't fight themselves."
