             The coffee house is a peaceful relaxing place, but there is always some sort of fear in the back of Americans minds. Fear, fear of lots of things. Everyone is afraid of something different. In a coffee shop there isn't much to be afraid of, or is there.
             One type of fear someone might have in a relaxing coffee shop is the fear of someone coming in and robbing the shop. When strange looking people walk into an environment like a coffee shop, people turn and look. Once they see the person it strikes fear into their minds. They start thinking about what could happen if that person tried to hold up the shop. They lose focus on the one they are conversing with, they are distracted. Customers keep an eye on the strange looking person, always glancing back until they leave. When they leave, a wave of relief flows over the people of the coffee shop.
             When thirsty, caffeine addicted North westerners walk into a respectable coffee shop they expect a delicious tasting beverage that is to the perfection of their liking. There is no fear in their minds until they see the cup. Then people start to think, what if I don't like it? What if it's too hot? These are small things, but to north westerners, who always seem to be in a hurry, they can't deal with these little complications. The fear of this is small, not life threatening, but can be some of the biggest fears for some people.
             All of these fears and more can add up in a person. It can cause some stress when people fear a lot of things. It all adds up in there minds, having to worry about things they shouldn't have to worry about. If people didn't have to worry about a stranger coming in and shooting up the shop or robbing the place, they wouldn't have to take those moments to be afraid. They would not be distracted nor feel uncomfortable. All of those feelings would not exist. All that time and psychological stress would not
