Something to make you feel better about college

             Compared to most kids during the first day in my new school, I wasn't that thrilled to actually be there. One thing, I believe to be rather "too young" to be in college. And when I realized that I already have majors (zoology? General chemistry? Like, huh?) I really felt lost. Out of the gazillion kids roaming around, searching for classrooms and venues, there was only one person that I am familiar with. And because of that, we both decided to stick to our schedule and stay together. Look at it this way, we'd look like a pair of stupid freshman rather than individual stupid freshmen. Haha!
             There are days though in which we both have to go to our separate ways. I try to remain unnoticed in class. But I guess that was a dumb idea coz it didn't work. A couple of kids introduced themselves, acting all perky and friendly. I'll just nod, say "uh-huh" occasionally, give them my name and that's it. I guess I sort of like, pissed them off one way or another. But then again, I haven't got time for things like that.
             My first week was rather hard. I flunked my first chemistry test. It was all on conversion. I know that I am not that bright but I'm not an idiot. But I am too depressed and uninspired to actually crack a textbook open.
             What I wanted was to be with my old Highschool buddies. I don't want to be in college and face all these heavy responsibilities (not to mention really heavy college textbooks and mean stares of teachers! Imagine! In my old school, I was secured)! They all went to school out of town, but since I wasn't qualified to go there, I had no choice but get stuck in this suckfest.
