The Church

Is stem-cell research a right thing to do? Of course, in the Church's perspective, it is wrong to do such a thing. Christians believe that the embryo has a moral standing and have the rights to live, while some who are non-believers of the Catholic community says that it has no moral and therefore it has no rights.
Nowadays, our world is more high-tech and modern; so how life begins is no loner reasonable to people, even thinking if the embryo is a human being or not, is no longer important to some of us.
It is factual that all human beings were once in tissue-like form, it is also agreeable that an unborn child have the rights to live. It does not matter what shape or form or how different we look, because for once we were all in a woman's womb and we all looked like pieces of tissue. All the embryo needs is time, time proves everything. Doesn't an embryo turn to a fetus in just a few weeks and after a couple of months, it turns into an infant? As it is to be seen, time changes the stage of development for the embryo. Now the question is, does the human being at the stage of development have human rights and the right to live?
Only close-minded and heartless people would think, that the embryo is not a human being, they think that destroying them is a way of improving our modern world and our new advanced technology. It comes to a conclusion that they (in particular, the stem-cell and abortion researchers) think the unborn child should not deserve the same rights as some others and they believe that the unborn child is not significant.
The law should respect the human dignities and put some actions to stop the stem-cell researchers. In short, people should start thinking about the embryo's life, and the rights to live; their life is in our community's hands.
