They visit and post their resumes on job sites on the Internet. However, there is one new avenue for finding jobs, which is very popular in the United States. I am talking about job fairs. Job fairs are a great way to connect with hundreds of potential employers and expand your understanding of varied industries and all at one place at one time. It also gives you a chance to practice your interviewing skills as well as your professional networking skills, since many employers conduct impromptu on-site interviews.
             In today's corporate world competition is increasing at a tremendous rate. The benefits, job fairs, offer for job prospectors like me are enormous. But one has to learn to grab the opportunity and use it to one's benefit. Most people come to job fairs just to learn about the industry & employment trends. Another advantage of a job fair is that you get to know the company first hand. Since you meet face to face with your prospective employer, your can arrive at your judgment about the company and the people there.
             An important benefit of a job fair is getting to know people. I would say that this is the greatest advantage a job fair offers as compared to other forms of recruitment. You network with people. You find industry representatives and leaders who decide the course of our careers. You also get to know your peers who are equally qualified.
