I strongly disagree that there should be no exams in schools. We are exposed to different kinds of exams while we are studying in nursery school until our tertiary education. Hence, there is no point to abolish exams when there are beneficial to us in many ways.
             Exam is like a yardstick to measure our abilities. Once exams to us that we are weak in certain subjects, automatically we would work harder to achieve better scores in future. On the other hand, teachers in school can find out who the weaker students are in class and will pay more attention to them. Tuition classes are called out by dedicated teachers who want their students to achieve their academic goals and be successful in life. Therefore exams play an important role in everyone of us and we must make sure that we take our exams seriously.
             Besides that, exams also encourage us to read and work harder. Once we read extensively, we can access to different kinds of knowledge which can widen our mental vista to know the world better. Paper qualifications are the only guarantee to a good life in today's society. These qualifications can bring us good jobs and high salaries and ensure us a luxurious life. So we can see that exams determine our future in this modern era of globalisation where everyone is competing against each other to strive for excellence. Competitions among the members of society can make our country modern, progressive, and industrialised quickly. Our country needs well-educated young citizens who pass with flying colours in their exams because they are the potential manpower to develop our nation and make 'Vision 2020' a reality.
