Ethnics Differences

             Different ethnics race choose their ethnics race as the prettiest in most cases, but in this case it has something to do with what the media thinks is the prettiest and best looking. As a group we choose six different models from different ethnics groups and showed them to kids of different age and different ethnics groups. Each of the children chooses whom they thought were the prettiest out of the group. The issues that will be addressed are different ethnics groups, gender, and media influences.
             When we are born, we are born into a family of our ethnics groups such as Black, White, Hispanic, Filipino, Indian, and so on. When we are born we don't choose our race, it is given to us from our parents. As we grow up our parents teach us who and what we are and they tell us what to think is beautiful in life. From my group survey, we interviewed different ethnics groups of different ages. Each one had chosen whom they thought was the prettiest and from the result they choose someone in their own ethnics group and/or someone similar to their ethnics group. To me its shows that we might already have a problem with race because the kids are saying that their race is prettier than anyone else's. With this information it shows that maybe the kids haven't seen the world as a whole and that everyone in this world is beautiful in their own way; it doesn't just have to be physical, it can very well be mentally, fashionably, and just natural. The problem doesn't just come from the kids, it very well reflects the parents and what they are teaching their children when they are young.
             Now with gender it's a whole different story because in my group we each had different gender, with different age groups.
