When I was in High school, a classmate and a close friend of my sister used to sleep over in our house. I never thought this simple and petite lady can captivate a huge crowd including myself during the "Kabog Songfest". People were captivated and mesmerized by her voice, I would say, one will never get tired of listening to her rendition of popular songs hence she won the 1st place.
             That unique and lovely voice belongs to Kristine Anne, Kaye to her friends. She was born on January 13, 1986 in Valenzuela, Metro Manila. Kaye is a sophomore student taking up Behavioral Science. Being the champion of the "Kabog Songfest", she will represent the Faculty of Arts and Letters to the coming "Ritmo Tinig Tomasino", the university singing contest which will be held this coming Thursday, January 29.
             Kaye is the third child of Mr. and Mrs. Emilio ______. According to her mother she was a toddler when she started humming tunes from the tapes her father sent from abroad. She really loves to sing even though she was still a child she would always obliged whenever asked to sing. With a com in her hand she would stand on top of the table, just like performing in the stage. Kaye was in grade 3 when she joined her first singing contest in St. Mary's College, Meycauwayan, Bulacan. She decided to study in University of Santo Tomas just like her other siblings, and perhaps hoping she will have more singing opportunities here.
             Kaye also joined the "Search for a Star" of GMA 7, unfortunately she didn't win. She was so frustrated because she knew she really did her best that time. She was also sad because she didn't want to disappoint her family, friends and relatives. Other people thought she was a flirt though she just wanted to be friendly, she felt it was the worst criticism she had ever received in her entire life.
