Will Life or Death Be Granted in the Marcus Wesson case?

             The question that is going on in society today is when should a person be sentenced to life or get the death penalty? In addition, who is to say that this person should get either? In the case of Marcus Wesson, who is a 58 year old man who was found guilty of first-degree murder in the 2004 deaths of nine of his family members. I believe that this is the most shocking and disgraceful act that has ever been done. Now the court is trying to decide the fate of this disgraceful image of a man.
             There is plenty of evidence of what Marcus Wesson did. And all of this evidence is going against him. It ranges from the actual murder weapon lying on the 9 bloody dead corps to the blood stained shirt on Marcus Wesson's body. Not to mention the diary's that were left by his children and neices, which read of how he engaged in incest and polygamy. These kids didn't think that any of this was wrong though. That's the part that I don't get. This started when the family returned to Wesson's house to get the children that they left in Wesson's care but things went bad when they soon found out that Wesson was not going to give up the children that easy. In fact, he had a standoff with the police as well as the children's parents. The bad thing about all of this is that the fact that the evidence that they do have may not be enough to convict Marcus Wesson of any of his charges.
             Marcus Wesson does not care either. In fact in his eyes he feels that he did nothing wrong. He says that this was all a work for God. He trained his children growing up that if anything were to happen to any of them that would break up the family the older kids were to kill all of the younger ones, then turn around, and kill themselves. He was so smart and conniving that he actually had mind control over these people. He had many beliefs also.
