The camera moves to Patrick's point of view showing Christie and Sabrina's expressions in a medium shot. Christie asks, "You have a really nice place here Paul, how much did you pay for it?" The camera moves back to her point of view and Patrick replies in a firm voice, "Well actually, that's none of your business Christiebut I can assure you, it certainly wasn't cheap" with the grin creeping back up at the end, showing how happy it makes him to brag about how successful he is (American Psycho). The viewer gets a long shot of the two girls on the couch and Patrick standing in the doorway to his bedroom.
