Meat industry fights for stricter Mad Cow Regulations
             Animal diseases have been a major dilemma for year's in the Livestock
             operations. Not only is it every time you look up your spending another dollar or some
             scientist has discovered a new disease infecting Livestock animals. The U.S in the past
             years haven't been really fortunate not to have has a lot of problems with some of these
             diseases. Back in 2003 the Canadian borders shut down because of one case of BSE or (
             Mad Cow Disease). This cost the farmers in Canada to lose many of their own cattle and
             some to lose their own ranches. It is a terrible crisis when something like this happens.
             The U.S really wepted the benefits of the BSE. The way it worked was they shut down
             the border or Canada so there could be not exports of beef products. The U.S had less
             compaction at his point and sold more beef than normal which made the demand of beef
             going up which made the prices of cattle to go up as well. This really helped out the U.S
             farmer but put a full man nelson on the Canadian farmer. Around the mid-90's the same
             thing happened to the British part of the world they I believe had the first cases of mad
             cow disease. This cause many dollars to be lost many animals to be burnt, and many
