In this day and age there are so many addictions in the world, that we overlook one of the worst. Of course, we have drugs, we have alcohol, and many others similar to these. But we often take for granted an increasing addiction, mostly among young adult men. The world wants us to believe that it is just another form of art. It first came about when painters and sculptors brought the human form into existence. And has grown from what was once just women in bathing suits called pinup girls to women totally nude laying with other women while touching each other. By now you probably know what I'm talking about, yea that's right PORN.
             Year after year PORN gets worse and worse. Just like anything else these days. We as a nation become more accepting to things that are wrong because we figure why fight it. We hear people say, "its none of my business what they do" or they'll say something like, "they have the right to do what ever they want." Now let me throw a couple of little known facts your way. The FBI's own study on serial homicide shows that the most common interest among serial killers is pornography. Also at UCLA two researchers studied the impulse among "normal" university men. They asked hundreds of male students if they would rape a woman knowing they wouldn't get caught. More than fifty percent said "Yes." With very little restraint pornographers are able to produce and sell erotic depiction's of rape, murder, and torture. Knowing this, I feel that the worse pornography gets and the more we sell the more violent crimes we allow. But like we say "it's none of my business if he rapes her, he has the right to do what he wants." Well it is are business if we do not stand up for what's right who will.
