             Macbeth is finally overthrow by Macduff (whose family Macbeth had had slain) as he fitted the three weird sisters riddle. Macduff was not born of woman as when he was born he had a caesarean section.
             At the beginning of the play Macbeth was the countries hero, he was highly respected throughout the land. As Macbeth gained more power it made him more corrupt, it also made him do more devious, cunning and evil things to help him keep his power. This was because he thought he could get away with it, as he believed he was invincible. When Macbeth gained absolute power and complete control over Scotland – King of Scotland, he was almost completely corrupt; he had very little in the way of emotions. Macbeth was also very selfish, as he was not doing any good for the country although Macbeth did suffer from some guilt as he had many a sleepless night, with nightmares.
             At the beginning of the play Macbeth was a man who would go to great lengths to honor his country. He was not interested in any schemes to get him to be King. Macbeth is influenced by Lady Macbeth; she makes him strive towards being King. She drives Macbeth on when he is too scared to carry on.
