Anti-abortion

             A picture says a thousand words, but in this case, these pictures say more than that. What loving mother would slaughter her own infant who has their entire life in front of them? Today's advancements in technology have given women multiple opportunities to avoid pregnancy, abortion is no longer a viable option. In the cases of rape and incest abortion is still wrong. It was not the child's fault that the mother was raped, so there is no logical reason why it should pay for the actions of its father. True, the act may have caused significant damage to the woman's mental health, but killing the child only increases the atrocity of the situation. At the moment of conception, a child is born. Regardless of a woman's right to privacy, federal law prohibits murder. Therefore, by definition, an abortion, which ends the life of a fetus, is murder of an unborn child. Law books go further and increase the penalties for murders of children. Roe v. Wade has caused a discrepancy in the law books. While at any other time it is illegal to kill a newborn or young child, the law still protects women who want to kill the child that is still developing in the womb. Abortion is not a "humane" way to help a woman out of the predicament she put herself in. The act becomes even more horrific when considering the fact that the woman is murdering her own child. Why should an innocent, unborn child suffer because of a mistake that he/she didn't make? This issue of abortion shows how our society has disintegrated over the years. The sheer number implies that many people are participating in premarital sex. America's values stand for nothing anymore – we are a society that sees no sacred-ness in the union between a man and a woman. "Sex sells" is the slogan of many companies, and while their profits increase tenfold, the number of children dying from abortions increases exponentially. Add...
