Many people are to blame in the tragedy of the novel, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet are from two families, the Capulets and the Montagues who have past rivalries and do not associate with each other. Romeo and Juliet rush into marriage and Friar Laurence has an idea to help them be together. Many are responsible for the tragic outcome including the Capulets, the Montagues, Romeo & Juliet, Tybalt, Mercutio and the prince.

Romeo and Juliet would not have continued to do everything in secrecy. Before Juliet met Romeo at the ball she was happy to marry Paris. When they first met Juliet didn't want to rush into things, "Although I joy in thee, I have no joy of this contract to-night; It is too rash, too unadvised, too sudden."
