The Existence of God

There is no valid reason for one to not believe in God. The rationale behind not believing is unreasonable and disadvantageous. The proof behind this is given to us in several different ways. We can find it ourselves through reason and faith, but we must keep in mind that it is not science's job to prove it to us. Of the proofs that we have discussed, there are three in particular that should easily and undoubtedly confirm the existence of the Lord to an average person in our country today.
The first argument is that of Pascal's Wager. The idea behind Pascal's Wager is founded in the premise that God must either exist or he must not. This is the basis of the law of non-contradiction. Then, once one assumes that truth, Pascal asks the person to treat the decision as if it were a bet. Next, it continues on by proving the reasoning of betting on God's existence. Pascal does this by explaining that there is nothing to lose by betting this way. Should one chose to bet on God, and then find out he doesn't exist, he will still come to the same end as that of the one who bets against God. However, if he is correct and has followed God's laws, he will receive eternal salvation while the non-believer will suffer eternal damnation. The only losses one might suffer from choosing God, will be finite, which pale in comparison to the infinite reward he will receive when the time comes. For example, if a person walks up to a street vendor and finds that he will only need to put down two dollars, to be able to choose from a box that has a million dollars in it (granted, a million dollars is not comparable to what we will receive from God) and one that does not have any, wouldn't he be sensible to put down the two dollars and guess? The non-believer would not even put up the two dollars, because he doesn't want to give up the short-term money so that he can gain the long-term reward. The believer...
