The Sixth Sense

The sixth sense is a well-constructed movie with many themes, symbols, and underlying meanings intertwined into the movie. I feel that a very important part of the movie is the use of symbolism, different themes and perspectives in the movie. Without the many different symbols, themes, and perspectives used the movie never would have given off the same effect as it did, and never would have been such a successful film. It is "the light" shown in that last scene that Bruce Willis has seen "the light" and understands why his wife has stopped talking to him and why everything has changed. Immediately following this comes the use of the cold imagery by the director signifying the presence of a ghost and of death (Malcolm.)
