effects of listening to violent lyrics are not exactly clear, psychiatrists at the American Psychology Association (APA) believe the young persons concerned are influenced by these lyrics because they are at an age when they cannot make informed decisions but are in the process of developing their own opinions. If explicit lyrics are exposed to adolescents, it will encourage them that rape, drugs and violence is acceptable.
