THE CONTENTS of MY GRANDMOTHER'S ATTIC
When I lived with my grandmother, she always made me go to her attic to retrieve things. Every time I would go to her attic, I would constantly injure myself. For instance, I got hit in the head with a falling object every time I pulled the stairs down. Another situation was the lights. The lights were broken all the time. Therefore, it was dark as tar. As I walked up the steps in the attic, I was constantly stepping on all types of trash lying on the floor, and the boxes that were stacked in the attic did not make it any better. After looking at all the boxes she has in the attic, I decided to walk further back into the attic only to fall on four big piles of clothes. I just do not understand why my grandmother keeps her attic so cluttered.
My grandmother is a sweet and nice person. My grandmother loves to dust, wash dishes, mops the floors, sweep the floors etc.... On the other hand, her attic was a different story. My grandmother just believes that she has to save everything that includes Newspapers, Paper Bags, Empty cans, and Flyers. For instance, my grandmother goes to purchase a newspaper every Sunday. She likes to view the sale papers, read the comics, and read the daily news. However, for some strange reason after she was done with the newspaper she does not throw them away. She would have my little brother to put the newspapers in the attic. Another example is when my grandmother goes to the grocery store, and she would make a request that she only wants her purchases bagged in paper bags. She would save the paper bags for her grandkids that were in school. She would say "there going to use these paper bags as book covers or they can pay for there books if they damage them."
