I'm writing to you, to inform you how the United States runs. Knowing that you are planning to move to the U.S.A for a better life. I would like to anticipate to you several issues and circumstances you will be dealing with in this country, specially for being a woman and with a child. As you should know crossing the border is the most dangerous step you will make in which your child's life and yours will be facing numerous obstacles, you might have to walk through the dessert for days with no water and poisonous snakes in your path you have the risk of dehydration to death and the worst part is getting sexually abused, robbed or even kidnapped. Most people that come for the American dream end up dead and for those who make it; It is very difficult to overcome in this country and it is also often hard to blend one culture into another without it being completely apparent, Hispanics have hard time adjusting to social groups with mixed races; mainly because racism still exists in this country and often you face really uncomfortable situations that may make you feel like you don't belong and a lot of people born here have that as a goal to accomplish ;for every immigrant that comes in their way they will make them feel like if they are more superior and like if they have the power over you; which is not true . Mistreatment and humiliation occurs everywhere and all the time not only for Hispanics ,but all cultures from different colors and races. Perhaps at first you wont have the rights that you should have. You are discriminated mainly by being Hispanic and in your case for being a women this might even affect you more. When trying to apply for a job, don't expect to find a job the minute that you are here; you might be discriminated. Sometimes before hiring a Hispanic they will give preference to a U.S citizen; looking for a job here is not as easy as it looks now these days we live in. You need to h...
