The campus of Mira Costa was very well kept and a real relaxing place to be. There were several grassy areas that all had tables and benches along the walkways where you could sit at to eat with your friends. The tall, healthy trees supplied ample shade so the hot weather wouldn't affect you too much. A breeze was blowing the whole time I was there and the outside environment was very comfortable and I bet it would be very easy to concentrate in if you needed to study out there.
             The buildings seemed new and they were built really well, but they had an older kind of Spanish style to them. Brick roofs and stucco walls adorned with murals and random statues gave the campus a unique feel. It seems like they tried to incorporate California's old heritage into the architecture of the campus and it was pretty cool. There was a real nice view of the lagoon as well and it was a nice sight to be able to see while going to school.
             The interiors of the buildings seemed very new and quite high tech. All the equipment was up to date and not so old that it didn't work with anything these days. There was no shortage of computers or anything else like that. Everything was very well lit and it seemed like everywhere I went there was a place to sit. So many places have nowhere to sit and it was nice to be able to just relax and give my feet a break whenever I wanted.
             Students that go to Mira Costa mostly work full time and some are still living at home. I have several friends who go to this school and their school schedules are very loose and let them hold good jobs while still completing college courses. Most students were just average people from high school. They didn't go above and beyond and they didn't get failing grades either. Just c-b average students who are looking to get an easy but complete college education and degree. So most students just fulfilled the bare minimums or a tad bit extra of the requirements in...
