Why I decided to write about Harry Potter
The reason for writing about Harry Potter is simple. I just love it. I am no bookworm, but this books griped me so much that I could not stop reading.
The book is so interesting and funny at the same time. J.K. Rowling created such a brilliant and vivid story that I felt like being at Hogwarts while reading the books. In my point of view children feel like that.The children can use their whole fantasy. They hear about dragons and Dobby the house elf, about the Sorting Hat and Quidditch and about loads of other things. I also like the story because of the tension that is created in some situations, e.g. when Lord Voldemort appears. I write about Harry Potter, because I think the book offers a lot for children and is even very interesting for adults. In my opinion J.K. Rowling created a master piece of children's literature.
About the author and the origin of Harry Potter
The father of J.K. Rowling gets to know his wife Anne, half French half Scottish, in a train which leaves from King's Cross .
Joanne Kathleen Rowling is born in the General Hospital in Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire.
In the age of six years she writes her first poems about a rabbit. The family moves from Yate to Winterbourne on the other site of Bristol. At about this time she gets to know some friends called Potter.
Ian Potter loves playing tricks on them and the girls like to dress as witches.
They move again, to Tutshill, Wales .Joanne hates her new school and she loves reading books, like "Manxmouse" and "Little White Horse".
She goes on writing poems, now she is interested in writing about seven vanished diamonds.
Her best friend is Sean Harris ,he becomes Ron Weasley later on.
She tells us that she was a careerist in those days, like Hermione.
In her last year Joanne is becoming Head Girl .
Rowling starts studying at the university of Exeter.
