I have taken the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test and was not surprised to see that the Jung Typology Test came back with the same results – Extraversion, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving (ESFP), who's motto could be "Don't Worry – Be Happy".
ESFPs are outgoing, friendly, fun-loving realists, that seek fun and will create it if they need to. They love life and take obvious joy in living it to the fullest – live life now and do not analyze it. They like to have a lot of different experiences and the more they have, the better! ESFPs rely on these experiences as facts to understand situations while communicating with others and with making decisions.
They often enjoy material possessions as well as physical activity with others. However, they prefer to participate for fun rather than try to improve their performance and like to be asked to participate – even if they aren't interested.
ESFPs are very accommodating toward others and try to avoid conflict by being agreeable – but they will take either a tough or tender stance depending on the circumstances. They are good at interpersonal interactions and often play the role of peacemaker. When ESFPs make decisions, they are concerned with the impact of those decisions on others.
ESFPs are interested in people and new experiences. Because they learn more from hands-on experiences than from studying or reading, they dive into things and learn as they go. ESFPs dislike theory and written explanations and must find a practical reason and application for what they are learning.
Being extroverted, ESFPs are people people, they like to communicate and interact with others face to face and rely on details - what they can see, hear and know first-hand.
