The Story "Write Me Sometime" written by Taien Ng-Chan, which is wrote about how the time has made connections between the narrator and her father. And the "Food" is the most important factor that made changes between them in the short story. "Food" was the only thing that the narrator memorizes about her father; they were both have the similar interest before; the relationship had been changed as they had different interests.
             At the beginning of story, the narrator said "Whenever I think of my father, I think of food.", and she remembers that she had 52 happy lunches with her father each year, she described it as "happy lunches", and we can see that she really loved it and how is the significance of the lunches for her. All of the happiness and memories of her were about her father. She said her childhood was made by 52 happy lunches, the lunches took her most important place in her mind; we can see that her father was really playing an all-important role in her early part of life. People always remember their young's experience whatever it is a good or bad event for the person himself. What if they wouldn't have lunch together, there would be no 52 happy lunches in her life, could she still think of "Food" about her father? "Food" had made up a friendly relation for them.
             How could they were so friendly? What made them matched so much? The answer is "Food". McDonald's, Old Spaghetti Factory and pizza store were the common places they ate usually. They ate steak and seafood as she grows up, but she just pizza. Specific requests were needed with their pizza, "the sauce had to be spicy, and vegetables cut and arranged just right.
