Dreaming

             What is a dream? Some dictionaries say, "A series of thoughts, images, emotions that occur during sleep" (Crisp 35). Yet other references say that dreams are a communication of body, mind and spirit in a symbolic communicative environmental state of being. There are some commonly asked questions about dreams. Many can be answered scientifically, but are scientific answers good enough? Is there another side still undiscovered? Before reading, let it be know that some facts might be true and some just assumptions about dreams.
             But if you wish to enter, then close your eyes, relax and enter the dream world as the answers are revealed.
             (Genesis 37-42) The history of dreams is evident through out time. Dreams are mentioned often in the Bible. One inference is in the book of Genesis, chapter thirty-seven through forty-one. Joseph, a young boy in Canaan, had dreams that he would become ruler over his eleven older brothers. Even worse, he told them that they would bow down to him. Outraged, they threw him in a well and sold him into slavery.
             Despite the opposition, he went on to interpret the Pharaoh's dream and become a great leader.
             Many people have had dreams of warning or dreams of death. Some common dreams are those of falling, flying, or just walking around. Murders are sometimes committed and become reality in the morning. Why do these phenomenons happen? What is behind these occurrences? That's all great you say, but what are dreams really? Try to imagine your brain kicking around emotions, thoughts, ideas, actions and interactions of the short-term memory. Yet in the back of your mind, the trends of your life and the thoughts that influence it remain.
