When experiencing different phases of life, a person can't help but to have a mind set that people they will meet in the future will have certain awkward characteristics that will stand out, but none that could be so great that they can cause immediate tension between a person and society. But as life has progresses on, I have been enlightened to the vast field of psychology and how it relates to a great red oak tree that has a rich history and branches that stem out in many directions. Among the great branches, one big branch is what's called the personality disorders. There are many different types of personality disorders that different people assume, and the one that this paper will be observing is the Antisocial Personality Disorder. This disorder describes a person who lacks a conscience, is emotionally shallow, impulsive, and tends to manipulate others. They are poorly socialized and seem to be incapable of having deep feelings, such as guilt, shame, fear, loyalty, or love. But the question this paper will be covering is not what antisocial personality disorder is, but how the affects of societies various mistreatments of young children can cause this disorder.
             Social problems are linked to everyone, but how does it result in antisocial personality disorder to some people rather than others? One answer to this questions dances around the topic of divorce. As young children grow up, the people they become close to initially are the people who take care of them and invoke their trust within the child, and those people are usually the child's parents. As they grow up, still around ages 3-6, if they are taken care of well and treated fairly by both parents, the child will become inseparable with them.
