When Shelia was explaining her involvement she said 'but I felt rotten about it at the time and now I feel a lot worse' (page 23). This shows she has regret for her actions and is genuinely sorry.
             Sheila's attitude is quite different from that of the other family members. She is much quicker on the uptake and receptive to what the Inspector is trying to do.
