My morality towards being honest came from my mother. According to my mother, Without Honesty, all relationships would be corrupted and useless. Boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, and wives, would all end up cheating with each other if honesty wasn't a connection. Dishonesty will never hold the bond of trust and without trust the base of all the relationship would be weak. She stresses being honest inside and out of the house. If you get caught telling a lie she will say "Never lie..." and there goes the biggest lecture about honesty and how it effects people. She gives me different examples every time about how dishonesty ruined many lives. For example, my aunt occasionally lied to her husband about things such as smoking and gambling. Sooner or later her husband would always find out the truth; their relationship worsened after every lie. Even when she tried saying the truth her husband wouldn't believe her. The couple finally separated. Now she is a single mother and moreover a loner. We all have important decision in our lives whether to lie or not.
             A situation in which one must be honest occurs on a day-to-day basis. Just today I was faced with a decision to lie, and keep the money that I was given on accident by the lunch lady. Of course, I being an honest person gave back the money and no harm was done. Only we can make decisions for ourselves because majority of the lies we tell we get away with. Honesty is an important and admirable characteristic that plays a really big role in life
