My Mom has inspired me to be a better person because of all the hard times that we've been through. She has been able to wipe the tears from my eyes and embrace the smile on my face. She is the person who I think is one of the most amazing people I know, therefore she is the person who I look up to for inspiration.
My Mom is the Sales and Marketing Manger for a medical laboratory. She has a full time job that requires a lot of hard work and long hours. At that time in our lives after work was done, she was always really tired. But when she came home from the stressful day of work she would have to do a double shift at home because we didn't have a father. He abandoned us when I was only two years old. So my Mom was raising three young children all by herself and would come home from a long day of work, but know that her day was far from over. She would step in the door, and not take any time to relax, she would then start to slave over the hot stove and clean the house that looked like a hurricane has just hit. But never once did she throw a tantrum, stomp her feet, or raise her voice.
Life was hard for her, but she never gave up because she knew that she had three young children, who she would die for, waiting at home. She was strong and powerful in every aspect of life: mind, body, and soul. When times got hard, she just thought about us and nothing else, as long as it's what we wanted and if we would benefit from it. She has helped us get through the tears, pain, and hurt of our lives. But how did she feel? No one ever knew, because she never took time for herself, it was all about her children.
