Forgiveness

             I think forgiveness is learned throughout life. Living through and learning to get over it and move on. I am not one to want to live my life full of anger. You will always come across people that upset you some how and it is just not worth you "hating" them.
             Personally, I learned forgiveness not to long ago. I was faced with something; I thought was extremely heart breaking.
             The end of my eighth grade year, I met a boy whom I thought was the dreamiest boy ever. His name was Clayton and he was a sophomore in high school. We dated for two years, he was what you call my "high school sweetheart" I adored him. To make a long story short, in the end things didn't work out. He moved to Dallas to attend Northwood University and I still had a year of school left and I knew that love from far away is the love for fools so we separated, still friends at the end. My family knew him and he knew my family. During this time, a cousin of mine named Julie was constantly running away from home and always needed a bed to sleep in. One weekend I saw her at a club with a bunch of guys, knowing what was going on in her life, I told her to come home with me because I did not feel comfortable with her being with so many boys. She did, and stayed with me for the weekend, then left. The next time I heard about her was a couple of months later. Another cousin of mine called me and told that they had seen her at a club with my ex-boyfriend Clayton. I was crushed, I called her mom and asked her if she knew anything and that is when I heard the full story. My aunt Cindy informed me that she left back to Dallas with him and was living with him. I was overwhelmed with emotions; I wasn't sure how to feel. I was mad, hurt and confused. I immediately called Clayton on his cell phone and demanded to know what was going on.
