Abortion: birth control or murder?

             Abortion: birth control or murder? It is my opinion that abortion is murder. I personally do not feel that for any reason a person should have the right to decide whether or not a child should live. We as humans should not be trying to play the role of God.
             From the very beginning GOD commanded, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it." (Genesis 1:28, Genesis 8:17, and Genesis 9:1) God did not add, 'If it is your will', or 'If it pleases you', or ' if you decide to do so', or 'if it is your choice', did He? No, He said 'do it', It is God's will, not ours, that children should be brought into this world. If you will notice, this command was repeated at least three times in Genesis alone, and there are similar verses in other books. Now, why does anyone repeat himself? To drive home a very important point, that is why. And this fact "By contrast 169,957 abortions (97.8% of all abortions) were carried out in 1999 for social reasons." (http://www.christian.org.uk/) Social reasons, I'm sorry but that just does not make sense: why is it now in our modern society that having a baby is now considered socially unacceptable. There is one argument that states that with better birth control methods abortions will become a thing of the past. However that is highly unlikely seeing that "one of the ways that these chemicals and devices work is to prevent the fertilized egg from attaching to the lining of the uterus. "Fertilized egg" - that means that fertilization has occurred - a new tiny person has been formed and is traveling on his or her way down the fallopian tube to enter and attach to the womb. Once there, the baby receives nourishment, and the growth hormone progesterone needed for survival. But, if the contraceptive device prevents the newly conceived child from attaching to the uterus (womb), what happens?
