Cloning

Who has authority over life and death? Certainly is not a human decision, science has given us a variety of advances to achieve better life for humans, animals and plants. To that extent it's agreeable, but to define the way life is conceived? Everywhere in the word we can see how great scientists have contributed to the development of medicines and methods that help us alleviate many illnesses, but let's review some facts from different points of view and see where you would like to stand in the matter of cloning.
Cloning is a way to create something already created, make a copy, duplicate. It will require for scientist to have control of how long certain specie will live. Defending the aspect of cloning under the blanket of scientific advance? "It is important here to remember what cloning entails: the DNA-laden nucleus from a somatic (body) cell is placed into a denucleated egg and stimulated into growth with an electric shock. What begins to grow is a "fertilized" egg, an embryo-not a kidney or any other disembodied pieced of tissue."(Kontorovich 99) the question should be made "can the relationship between a clone child and his parents and siblings be the same? Or will it be a "special treatment".
In the contrast for someone wishing for a child perhaps cloning is not so "bad" considering the longing to be a parent. Dolly was big news in the research word (1997), given a "hope" to the ones without hope, but what is the price to pay? Playing God in deciding when and if you have a child? I goes without saying cloning has a dark side that becomes unethical in the medical world. When researchers start altering what nature intended to be, it becomes repulsive. It has to be taken into consideration the life being created, who he or she will become? The daughter, sister, children are fragile and must be treated with care, but what if we don't even know how t
