Many businesses start out and have high hopes of becoming an overnight sensation. My new independent business is Brian's Bed and Breakfast. It is located in the quiet town of Wylie, Texas (west of Plano). The town does not currently have a hotel or bed and breakfast. My business will benefit travelers who seek a more comfortable sleep and meal than a normal hotel provides. The place will be open 7 days a week and will open from 5 in the morning and close at 11 at night. Any late-comers may still be able to arrive after closing, however. My target consumers are those tourists and businessmen who enjoy the home-like atmosphere of a hotel room. My rooms will not be like normal hotel rooms, but rather like their own room. For this business, I need a building permit.
My service is a night's rest and a gourmet continental breakfast in the morning provided to the customers whenever they call for it. The continental breakfast includes whatever they want for breakfast. We will try to provide the client with this breakfast as soon as we can. A good night's rest is desired by people who travel a lot and like the feeling of home and a good home-cooked meal in the morning when they wake up. This is different from the normal hotel rooms because we have more interaction with the customers and they feel like they are part of a family instead of a small, insignificant person. We interact more with the people and do anything we can to serve their needs. The customer is always right as far as Brian's Bed and Breakfast is concerned. The service we provide will always be in demand, thus allowing a steady flow of cash to come through. There are many big name corporations in the metroplex that fly many business people to their location and they may want to stay in a homey place.
