Breast Cancer

             Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer that women get. It's not only a hassle for women but it can also be deadly. There isn't a certain way that it can be 100 percent prevented, but there are some things you can do to decrease your chance of getting it.
             Not many people know that if you breast feed your infant then it will lower your chances of becoming diagnosed with breast cancer. This fact has been heard of, but never taken seriously. When most people hear about this they think that it's just a bunch of myths to get women to breast-feed their infants. It has been clinically proven by scientist and doctors that it really can lower your chances of getting breast cancer. Scientists have done research throughout the world to make this a proven fact. The most recent experiment was in China, this experiment has concluded that a woman who breastfeeds for 24 months of her life has only half the risk of developing breast cancer as a woman who breastfeeds for 1 - 6 months. The protection rate of not having breast cancer is raised to 75 percent for those women who chose to breast feed for a total of 109 months. The protection rate it held true for both pre-menopausal and post-menopausal breast cancers. Not only is breast-feeding good for the mother but it also reduces the risk for a baby girl to get breast cancer later on in life. In fact, women who were formula fed as infants have the highest rate for being diagnosed with breast cancer as an adult.
             Some mothers don't take very much into consideration when the choice comes to either breast-feeding or bottle feeding their baby. Now with this being clinically proven more women will.
