What does it mean to be fulfilled

What does it mean to be fulfilled? To be fulfilled is to be satisfied, feel respected, and being able to use one's skills. In "Mike Lefevre, Steel Worker," by Studs Terkel, he portraits his unfullfilment in his job as a steelworker. He is on a job where he picks ups forty to fifty thousands pounds a day. He is unsatisfied because he feels that he is not being recognized for his hard work and effort. An example where he demonstrates his unsatisfaction is when he said, "I worked for a trucker one time. One can also sense his feelings of unfufillment when he says that he feels like an old mule (Terkel 503). He is comparing himself to a mule known to have a lack of intelligence.
I can say that my father can relate to Studs Terkel, in that he did not finish his high school career because he had a family to support. He brought my sister and me here, to America, to offer us a better life. Since he did not have an education, he wants us to go to college and have a career wh...
