I have climbed up steep mountains, and ran over bumpy hills all to get to where I am today. In college at Winston Salem State University. My high school experience was a very hard and challenging experience, and I Did not think I would be here today.
             The journey started at a private school that I went to named Ravenscroft. This was a high credited school for academics and sports. My ninth grade year there was the year that hit me hard. I didn't pay a lot of attention to the massive overload of work that I was receiving. My mine was more on the girls and playing football; because I was a freshman on the varsity football team I thought I was hot stuff. By the end of the semester going into basketball season I had a talk with the coach of the football team. He told me that I was ineligible to play sports until my grade point average was at or above a 2.4. For the remainder of the next semester I tried to pull my grades up. But at the time I was so far behind there was not much I could really do. When my parents found out my about grades they where shocked. I had made all A's all through out middle school without doing nothing. I was using the same lazy habits that I used in middle school to get me by, but it wasn't working this time. It wasn't that I wasn't smart enough I just didn't put my all into it. By the time school was over my grades had increased a little but not enough. I did not pass the ninth grade and either could repeat it or I could go to summer school. I decided to go to summer school when I was at summer school I worked my tail off to pass an sure enough I did with all B's in the courses I repeated.
